Hand forged and fabricated, mild steel Candle Holder.

A striking silhouette of flowing and twisting Seaweed, in this example Bladderwrack, a more complicated structure to explore!

3 individual strands wrapped around a central candle dish at 10cm round.

Each piece of seaweed has been hand forged with repoussé type techniques, raising a central vein into the sheet steel, down the whole form.

Also featuring bulbous, round bladders of various sizes as well as dimpled texture details.

I prefer a short, fat candle for this design!

There’s nothing quite like a nice bit of Seaweed!

Items left in a damp environment will develop a non damaging surface rust.

To clean and protect your metal work clean with any product containing wax or oil, such as furniture polish or WD40.
